Extending beyond the solid oak frame, the MŪ11 bed’s integrated headboard subtly references torii – traditional Japanese gates placed at the entrance to shrines to symbolise the threshold between material and spiritual realms.
Elevated by a steel structure and glides, the contrast between the timber frame’s warm texture and the graphic lines of its metal base lends compositional complexity to an otherwise simplified form.
Our timber furniture is crafted from prime oak or walnut. The solid walnut pieces feature a natural oiled finish that highlights the warmth of the timber, while oak items can be stained to a darker shade.
The MŪ11 bed is designed to accommodate any 250 mm King mattress, ideally without piping to maintain the streamlined look of the frame. We recommend the Tempur Original, Sloom Original or Meelu Original mattresses. The MŪ11 bed size is customisable on request.

The MŪ11 bed combines powder-coated steel, stainless steel, and solid oak. With simple, regular care, these materials will age beautifully.
For everyday cleaning, dust all surfaces with a soft, dry or microfiber cloth. Always dry metal surfaces thoroughly after exposure to any moisture.
Oak components should be cleaned with a soft cloth, if needed, slightly dampened with mild soapy water for marks or spills, then dried immediately. Remove candle wax only once hardened, using a blunt object carefully to avoid scratching. Keep timber out of prolonged direct sunlight and use coasters or protective mats to prevent stains.
Avoid pouring liquids or cleaning products directly onto any surface. Do not use steel wool, abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, bleach, or chlorine- or acid-based cleaners, as these may damage finishes and cause corrosion. Minor timber scratches or dents can often be repaired — please contact us for guidance before attempting fixes.
Damage caused by abrasive materials, aggressive cleaning agents, or improper repairs is not covered under warranty.
The MŪ11 bed is made from high-quality solid prime oak, with each plank selected for its strength, straight grain and visual appeal. A subtle reverse taper detail runs consistently through the design, with all parts carefully joined to create a seamless look.
The steel base is made from laser-cut components that slot together without mechanical fixings. It firmly supports the timber frame, resulting in a rigid and stable structure once assembled.
Custom stainless-steel glides lift the bed slightly off the floor, adding a refined finishing touch.
