Made of locally sourced, solid sandstone, the MŪ161 bench emphasises the warm yet rugged character of its material. The faceted seating slab is supported by two trapezoidal forms that lock firmly into place, uniting the horizontal and diagonal elements with a refined simplicity of construction.
Finished with a high-performing sealant to preserve and augment the natural grain of the stone, the MŪ161 is appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use.
As the bench is carved from solid sandstone, its weight requires professional handling for transport and installation. This is a service we coordinate and manage, and it is included in the quoted price of the bench.

Sandstone is naturally porous, so all our pieces are sealed to help protect against moisture and stains. Depending on how and where the piece is used, it may need to be resealed over time. For day-to-day care, wipe surfaces with a soft cloth. For marks, use a cloth lightly dampened with mild detergent and water.
Avoid abrasive materials such as steel wool or harsh cleaners. As most stone sealants are best applied by professionals, please contact us before attempting to reseal. Sandstone is also a relatively soft stone and can chip or dent if struck by sharp or heavy objects.
Damage caused by abrasives, aggressive cleaning products, or improper treatment is not covered under warranty.
