The MŪ262 stool is a return to simple geometry. Featuring a single diagonal support braced by a straightforward footrest, its construction ensures balance, positioning the centre of gravity to counter the initial impression of instability.
Stainless steel details complement the timber, and compositional unity is reinforced by the circular motif repeated in its wooden seat and metal base.
Our timber furniture is crafted from prime oak or walnut. The solid walnut pieces feature a natural oiled finish that highlights the warmth of the timber, while oak items can be stained to a darker shade.
The MŪ262 stools are fitted with a round stainless steel floor base to provide added stability and a secure footing. For projects that require a more permanent solution, we can also manufacture the stools to be fixed directly into the flooring. While the piece is not particularly heavy, its angular form and defined corners require considered placement. We recommend avoiding installation in areas where young children have unmonitored access.

For everyday maintenance, dust the timber with a soft, dry cloth. For marks or spills, use a cloth lightly dampened with mild soapy water, then dry immediately. Let candle wax harden before carefully lifting it off with a blunt object. Keep timber out of prolonged direct sunlight and avoid placing liquids or cleaning products directly on the surface. Do not use steel wool, abrasive pads, or harsh chemicals. Minor scratches and dents can often be repaired — contact us before attempting fixes.
Damage caused by abrasives, harsh cleaning products, sharp objects, pets, or improper repairs is not covered under warranty.
The MŪ262 stool is crafted from solid oak components. Each element is machine-cut for precision and then hand-assembled, with particular care given to the junction between the seat and the angled base.
A stainless-steel base provides added stability, while discreet stainless steel foot rests protect the endgrain of the wood.
