This sofa is fully upholstered in either mohair or a synthetic velvet—textiles selected for their tactile quality and longevity. For everyday care, we recommend regular gentle vacuuming or light brushing using a very soft upholstery brush or padded upholstery duster to remove dust and prevent particles from settling into the fibres.
Spills should be addressed promptly by blotting (not rubbing) with a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture and any form of scrubbing, as this may distort the pile or weave. Harsh chemicals, off-the-shelf cleaning sprays, stain removers, or solvents should not be used, as they can damage the fibres, affect colour, or leave residues.
Wool-based textiles such as mohair velvet, as well as synthetic velvets, should always be professionally dry cleaned. For deeper cleaning, persistent stains, or guidance on suitable methods, we recommend consulting a specialist upholstery cleaner.
